BP's Chief Scientist gives the BP Annual Lecture

Dr Angela Strank, Head of Technology, Downstream and BP’s Chief Scientist, will be delivering the annual BP Lecture on 25 November (5-7pm) in C2, Renold Building

She holds a PhD in geology from University of Manchester and the Institute of Geological Sciences and has published over 30 scientific papers.

Dr Angela Strank was appointed to the position of Head of Technology, Downstream and BP’s Chief Scientist in June 2015.  Within BP she is a member of the Downstream Executive Team and she is responsible for the development of sustainable technology advantage for the downstream businesses. As BP’s Chief Scientist she is accountable for developing options to ensure the company can benefit from developments in science and technology worldwide.
