Personal effectiveness and wellbeing
Enhance time management, resilience and work-life balance while fostering a supportive and inclusive Library community.
The following themes were identified as priorities for Library staff via anonymised analysis of learning development plans completed during the PDR process in 2024. Learning and development resources have been identified and made available in recognition of these areas of interest and priority for Library colleagues.

- Building Resilience - LinkedIn Learning - a 34 minute online course containing strategies to handle stress and adverstity effectively.
- Developing Personal Resilience for Change - MyDevelopment - A 45 minute course to help build inner strength and adaptability to help navigate uncertainty.
- Time management fundamentals - LinkedIn Learning - a 2 hour 53 minute course that shares the practical foundations for managing your time and becoming more productive.

- The Colleague wellbeing Programme - The University Wellbeing team oversees the University’s wellbeing services for colleagues. They provide advice and signposting, and collaborate with leaders and teams to enhance wellbeing.

- Wellness Action Plans - University webpage - A Wellness Action Plan (WAP) can help you to identify what good days at work look like, as well as how you may feel on days that aren't going so well. The questions in the plan can help you to reflect on what can help when you don't feel well at work.
