Wellbeing
We want everyone at the Library to have the tools and resources they need to maintain their wellbeing. These resources highlight the support and practices available to all staff, whenever they may need them.
University Resources
- Wellness Action Plans – we encourage all library colleagues to complete a wellness action plan. A Wellness Action plan is a personalised, practical tool we can all use to help us identify what keeps us well at work, what causes us to become unwell, and how to address a mental health problem at work should you be experiencing one.
- The Colleague Wellbeing Programme - The University wellbeing team oversees the University’s wellbeing services for colleagues. They provide advice and signposting and collaborate with leaders and teams to enhance wellbeing.
- Our Wellbeing Commitment - outlines the University vision for colleague wellness.
Library resources
- Library Wellbeing Planning Group - the Library’s Wellbeing Planning Group - made up of wellbeing champions from each Directorate - oversees and delivers the Library’s Wellbeing Action Plan.
- Library Wellbeing resources - a reading list of wellbeing resources across a wide variety of topics.
- Library wellbeing champions - know the champion for your team/area.
- Wellbeing and Social Teams space - The All Library Staff Wellbeing and Social Teams channel is a space for sharing wellbeing resources, social events, and updates to help keep everyone informed and connected.
