Getting Started

Guidance and tips to help you get the most out of LinkedIn Learning on your desktop and mobile devices.

How do I search for skills, subjects or software?

When you first login you’ll be asked for your areas of interest and courses will be recommended to you. You can either search for content using the Browse menu or the search box at the top of the page.

There are so many courses on LinkedIn Learning that it can initially be overwhelming but the most recommended, most useful courses will always appear at the top of the search results. Every course has a short preview video that will let you know what you can expect. You’ll never have to commit to completing a full course so you’re able to discontinue the course at any time if it’s not what you were looking for.

Try some courses recommended by DSE staff or type your job role in the search bar and see what appears.
