Induction

All new starters in the DSE can expect a detailed induction programme. This is designed to help you settle quickly into your new role and will include the following support.

The University Induction is designed to introduce you to the University of Manchester. 

In the DSE we have an Online Induction to introduce you to our large directorate and the teams that sit within in. 

Each Division has its own Induction Materials outlined below:

• Division of Campus Life 
• Division of International Development 
• Division of Student and Academic Services 
• Division of Residential and Sport Services 

 Colleagues adopting Hybrid Working in the DSE should also familirise themselves with the DSE Hybrid Working Health and Safety Induction.

Local Inductions arrangements will be put in place by your Line Manager to introduce you to the team you work in.
