Roles and Responsibilities

We all have a right to work in a place where risks are properly controlled, and although we don’t aim to remove risk altogether, we all have a role to play in taking responsibility for both our Health and Safety and the Health and Safety of others.

Different roles carry different responsibilities in respect of Health and Safety, details of which are provided here.

For convenience, roles are grouped into all staff (which contains additional information for Leadership Team, Line Managers and Supervisors), and those roles which contain a specialist health and safety component.
