Vicky Ackerley
Head of Residential and Sport Services
Vicky provides leadership of all of the University’s residential and sport services operations; ensuring the delivery of quality services for students (and staff). She leads on the development and delivery of an effective long term strategy for the residential and sports offer in addition to providing leadership and insight, acting as a senior representative of the University in the management of relationships between the University’s students and members of the communities in which they reside.
Prior to this role Vicky was Head of Sport and Active Lifestyles at the University, a role she held for over 7 years. Her background involves roles at The University of Birmingham, Badminton England and Birmingham City Council. Vicky has held Director Roles on the board of BUCS and Lancashire Sport and is currently an Independent Non Exec Director for Rossendale Leisure Trust.
