Resources for Research Services Staff
Research Information Systems
Researchfish is an online submission system, which many funders (including the UK Research Councils, Arthritis Research UK, Cancer Research UK, and NIHR) use to collect and evaluate the outputs and outcomes of your research projects.
PIs on active Research Council grants and Research Council Funded students are required to report to Researchfish annually. You can log into the Researchfish submission system and record outcomes at any time throughout the year, but can only ‘submit’ your return during the submission period. You can find details of the next submission window on the UKRI Research Outcomes page.
Power BI is the University's reporting and analytics tool. Research applications and awards data from the data warehouse is now available in Power BI and standard reports have been shared with users who previously had access to RESEARCH_REPORTING reports in Discoverer. You can apply for access to these reports via the IT Support Portal.
The log in URL for Power BI is https://app.powerbi.com
A short training course on how to navigate the research reports within Power BI can be accessed here.
Pure is the University Research Information System.
New users can request access by logging a ticket with IT Services.
