The University is legally responsible for ensuring that every visitor is properly entitled to work or participate in our activities – access information, guidance and support in welcoming visitors.
The University is legally responsible for ensuring that every visitor is properly entitled to work in, and/or participate in the activities of the University.
This is true however long their visit, and whether they are paid or unpaid for their work or activity here.
In addition, the University implements checks on entities linked to visitors in accordance with export control regulations. These checks are carried out on the entities, rather than the visitors themselves, and applies whether they are visiting in person or remotely.
Our checks, through the People Directorate and the Regulatory Compliance Office, ensures the University upholds its international standing and fosters a secure and compliant environment for its academic community.
