What are the DOCAs?

Every year the DSE recognises, rewards, celebrates and thanks staff for their contribution to the Directorate and to the University of Manchester through the DSE Outstanding Contribution Awards (DOCAs). It is one of many reward and recognition initiatives that the DSE is proud to have in place to take time out to thank colleagues and celebrate our achievements.

There are 8 different award categories to choose from. Any member of staff can nominate any other individual or team from within the DSE, except themselves or their own team.

The awards are judged by a panel which includes representation from both within the DSE and from members of the wider University community. 

Nominations for the 2025 DOCAs will open in Autumn 2024.
