Bridging Borders: The Future of UK-EU Scientific Cooperation

This event is organised by the University of Manchester’s International Staff Network in collaboration with the ConnectsUK project.

The event will present insights from four reports examining EU–UK scientific collaboration in the post‑Brexit era. The topics covered include the experiences, challenges, and perceptions of EU researchers working in the UK, as well as the structures, strategic priorities, and long‑term sustainability of EU research diaspora organisations.

The event will also explore these organisations’ roles in science diplomacy and the perspectives of their members, all situated within the broader context of EU–UK research funding, mobility, and shared research infrastructure.
