About the Knowledge Exchange Partnerships Team

The Knowledge Exchange Partnerships Team supports the creation of impactful external partnerships for mutual benefit, in pursuit of the University’s vision, ambitions, and priorities, in relation to KE, impact and innovation.

The functions of the team include:

UKRI Impact Acceleration Account

Management and delivery of the 2022-25 UK Research and Innovation Impact Acceleration Account, comprising of awards from the following Research Councils: AHRC; BBSRC; EPSRC; MRC; and STFC.

Expert Knowledge

Maintaining expert knowledge of UKRI knowledge exchange remit and policy, embedding it within University KE policy and programmes, and co-ordinating the University's response and contribution to KE programme development.

Innovate UK Knowledge Transfer Partnerships

Management and delivery of the Innovate UK Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) scheme, delivering research impacts through collaboration to achieve organisational innovation and growth.

Support

Support for the creation of a culture of knowledge exchange and innovation across the academic and research community, including identification of funding and project scoping, bid development and post-award account management and reporting.
