Confirmation and Clearing hotline - we need your support!

Every August, colleagues from across the University come together to support prospective students during Confirmation and Clearing - and we’d love your help.

Confirmation and clearing call centre

No prior admissions experience is needed. All we ask is that you’re happy to talk with potential students at what can be an exciting (and sometimes nerve‑wracking!) moment for them. You’ll receive full training in advance, plus on‑the‑day support, so you’ll feel confident and well‑prepared.

When we need you

  • Thursday 13 August: 8:00am–5:30pm
  • Friday 14 August: 9:00am–5:00pm
  • Monday 17 August: 9:00am–5:00pm

(Please note: staff are expected to arrive 30 minutes before their scheduled start time.)

  • We’re especially keen to secure additional support on the morning of Thursday 13 August, which is our busiest period.

Where

Activity will take place on campus. Remote participation may be possible for colleagues who have supported Clearing previously.
