If you’re thinking of applying for Horizon Europe funding we always recommend you to first speak with your Faculty Research Services team who can offer advice, support and guidance.
We also encourage colleagues to consider a variety of external support available and when have listed our recommendations below.
UK Research Office Brussels (UKRO)
UKRO are a UKRI team supporting the UK’s involvement in Horizon Europe. As part of UKRI, UKRO work with partners across the UK government and other stakeholders to maximise UK engagement in Horizon Europe.
UKRO also provide advice, as the UK National Contact Point, on the European Research Council, Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions and Widening Participation parts of Horizon Europe, as well as the COST Programme.

National Contact Points (NCPs)
The NCPs are appointed by the UK government to give you free impartial advice on Horizon Europe. Each NCP team member has expert knowledge in a specific area of funding such as choosing funding opportunities, finding partners or administrative procedures.

Innovate UK Business Connect
Innovate UK Business Connect offers deep thematic expertise and international contacts, and its ‘Horizon Europe Hub’ provides essential information on the programme, as well as the latest news, events and webinars.
The hub is accessible to all types of organisations, including businesses, small to medium sized enterprises and academia. It is a great way to build relationships and find funding opportunities.
Innovate UK Business Growth
This is a UK network that works locally with small and medium-sized enterprises. It can help you find funding opportunities, find industry partners for your project, and increase your chances of success.
Innovate UK Business Growth can help you connect with collaborators and business partners in more than 65 countries. This is through their involvement in the Enterprise Europe Network, and their partnerships tool.

European IP Helpdesk
The service gives free support to EU funding award holders on managing intellectual property.
