Catch up: one year of Manchester 2035
13 Oct 2026
Our recent all colleague townhall gave colleagues the opportunity to reflect on progress since the launch of From Manchester for the world and what comes next
A year ago, we launched From Manchester for the world, our strategy to 2035, shaped by thousands of colleagues, students, alumni and partners.
One year on, we are turning our ambitions into action through day-to-day improvements and the larger, longer-term projects that will help us become the University we want to be.
At the townhall, President and Vice-Chancellor Duncan Ivison reflected on where we are now, the progress made so far and what is needed next.
