University to celebrate innovation

There’s still time to register for our Innovation Festival, from Monday, 5 to Friday, 9 October 2026 – book now.

The Festival is an opportunity to explore the breadth of innovation happening across our university and to see how new ideas, partnerships and funding routes can help strengthen research, teaching, knowledge exchange and real-world impact. 

Across the week, colleagues can take part in events including the launch session, Building impact through innovation, from Manchester for the world; the Powerhouse of innovation showcase; Manchester to market; the Cambridge x Manchester partnership innovation summit; the Founders’ Playbook; and the final of the Coller AI competition. 

Whether you are looking to develop an idea, connect with potential collaborators, understand more about Manchester’s innovation ecosystem or explore how innovation can support your work, there will be opportunities to get involved throughout the week.
