We’re making great progress towards introducing the first version of Oracle Fusion later this year and we’re now ready to share with you an early view of what the system can do at our showcase demos.

“Showcase sessions are an early opportunity to get a first look at our new People and Finance system, explore some of its functionality, and understand the future ways of working it will support. They won't define every future process, role or responsibility, but you will see examples of key processes and gain insight into how the system is designed to create greater consistency, transparency and efficiency across the University.​”  Carol Prokopyszyn, CFO and Programme Sponsor.

In line with our From Manchester for the world delivery handbook, we’ve been involving colleagues along the way and most recently have piloted our Oracle Fusion showcase demos. Our short video gives a flavour of what’s been happening so far.

The showcase demo sessions are now open for all colleagues to book and are informed by colleague feedback from the pilots. Both online and in-person sessions are available to book from 22 June to 9 July and last between 30 and 45 minutes each. You can dip into multiple different processes from expenses to timecards to absence. So book as many as you need, with some targeted at colleagues and others at line managers, to get a high-level view of each process.
