The Hive of Pride 2026

Pride is an annual celebration of LGBTQ+ communities, recognising their history, achievements, and ongoing fight for equality. It’s also a moment for allies to show visible support and for all of us to reflect on the importance of inclusion. 

We’re celebrating Pride a bit differently this year, starting early so there are even more ways to get involved. We’ve even got a new name: The Hive of Pride, to reflect the brilliant programme of events happening across the university, from our lecture series to our wellbeing meditation and yoga sessions. 

The Hive of Pride is an opportunity to celebrate the work and contributions of LGBTQ+ colleagues and students, meet other community members and allies, and take part in events that feel welcoming, interesting, and fun.
