Your Voice Matters survey: thank you for taking part

01 Apr 2026

More people took part this year – here’s what happens next

The Your Voice Matters colleague engagement survey has now officially closed.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to share their feedback and insights. 59% of eligible colleagues participated this year, that’s 7,444 people, marking an 8% improvement compared to the 2025 survey.

What happens next?

The headline results will be shared across the University in mid-May. In keeping with our commitment to openness and transparency, a University-level report will be published, alongside reports for Faculties, Professional Services, Directorates, Schools, and Cultural Institutions.

To ensure anonymity, individual team results will only be reported where there are at least 10 respondents, and comments reports shared only for teams with 30 or more responses. Where these thresholds are not met, responses will be included in reports at the next organisational level up, so every voice is heard.

Taking action

Once the results reports are available, our Engagement Advocates (made up of nominees across the University as well as our People and Equality Diversity and Inclusion partners) will collaborate with local leaders to identify actions addressing local issues.

Progress will be tracked and updates shared throughout the year via the Your Voice Matters newsfeed. Last year, over 400 actions were logged and many completed, demonstrating our ongoing commitment to listening and acting on your feedback.

Thank you again for taking part. Your input helps us shape a better University for all.
