10 Mar 2026

Don’t miss out on our insight sessions, and the chance to shape your next career step!

Colleagues talking around a table

We offer a range of apprenticeship opportunities for new and existing colleagues to support their career development, with over 350 colleagues across the University currently working towards an industry recognised professional qualification.

This June we are excited to launch three updated programmes in collaboration with Corndel:

  • Project Management - For colleagues ready to take control of complex projects and lead with confidence.  On completion, you'll gain The Associate Project Management Level 4 diploma and the Association for Project Management (APM) qualification.
  • Managing with Purpose - 'Enable'  – For aspiring and early-stage managers ready to lead with confidence, influence and impact.  On completion, you'll gain the CMI Level 3 Certificate in Principles of Management and Leadership, Foundation Chartered Manager (fCMgr) status, the Team Leader Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard.
  • Leading Human AI Teams - 'Evolve' - For mid-level managers ready to lead human-AI collaboration with confidence.  On completion, you'll gain the Operations Manager Level 5 Apprenticeship, Corndel and Imperial certification and CMI Chartered Manager status

Who are they for?

These programmes are designed for colleagues whose current roles give them the opportunity to put their learning into practice. To complete an apprenticeship, you’ll need to be able to demonstrate the required knowledge, skills and behaviours as part of your day‑to‑day work. Each programme provides structured training over 12–15 months.

When do they start?

The courses begin in June 2026, and are fully funded through the Apprenticeship Levy.
