WATCH: Townhall with Professor Duncan Ivison on Manchester 2035
11 Sep 2025
This week’s Townhall gave colleagues an early preview of the foundations and leaps at the heart of our new University strategy.

Dear all,
Thank you to everyone who joined the Townhall on Tuesday, 9 September where I shared an early insight into the direction our University will take over the next decade.
For those who were unable to attend on the day, the recording is now available and you can share your initial reflections via four quick questions on Mentimeter.

I’d like to apologise to those of you who had difficulty accessing the event online or experienced any technical issues during the Townhall. We are in the process of moving towards using Teams for future Townhalls of this nature.
Colleagues asked more questions than we could cover live, so we have themed and answered the key areas of interest.
I look forward to exploring the final strategy in more detail with you at another Townhall.
Best,
D
