Out-of-hours University-wide network disruption

Essential work to improve the University of Manchester’s network will take place over two weekends in August and September.
The work is scheduled to take place from 5pm on Friday 29 August until midnight Sunday 31 August, and from 5pm on Friday 5 September until midnight Sunday 7 September.
During this time, networks managed by the University may experience multiple periods of disruption to services of up to 60 minutes including (but not limited to) WiFi and wired networks, IT login, GlobalProtect VPN, Duo and some University websites.
IT colleagues will be monitoring activities to ensure services return to normal.
