Planned disruption to IT login service and IT Account Manager

IT Services need to perform maintenance on Thursday 15 February, which will result in disruption to the IT login service and IT Account Manager.

This will only affect services which use the Central Authentication System and Shibboleth login as shown in the above image, including (but not limited to):

  • Blackboard
  • Video Portal
  • Microsoft 365 for students

It will not affect Wi-Fi nor the Microsoft login system, for example:

  • IT Support Portal
  • MyView
  • GlobalProtect
  • Microsoft 365 for staff

From 6pm on 15 February, the service is expected to be unavailable for approximately 15 minutes, however please allow up to 8.30pm for the work to complete.

Please note that anyone who is already logged in to systems such as Blackboard and the Video Portal will remain logged in; it is only new IT logins and access to the IT Account Manager which will be affected during this time.
