Hospitality on Campus: placing orders

A message from our Hospitality on Campus team, as they deal with a very high volume of orders

First, we want to say a huge thank you for the overwhelming support we have received when we asked you to Keep it On Campus.  As many of us return to campus, it has been wonderful to see so many of you placing orders for the start of the new term.

We are beginning to receive a very high volume of orders, which we are working through as quickly as possible and are doing so in date order.  

Helping us to help you

  • Please place your order giving us as much advance notice as possible, once you know the date, location and numbers for your event, we do ask that this should be at least five working days beforehand. On many occasions we are being asked to cater for events with just one day’s notice, which we simply cannot facilitate. Please be mindful and respectful of this when dealing with our colleagues.
  • There may be days when the Hospitality on Campus team reach capacity due to the number of orders already placed. Should the team not be able to fulfil your order, they will refer you to one of our external providers who may be able to look after your requirements. In this instance, the team will send you a referral email by which to approach external providers.

We would like to remind you that you can:

  • Add credit onto your staff ID card using a budget code to buy groups of staff or visitors lunch in Food on Campus cafes.
  • Buy vouchers to a set value for lunches or drinks against a budget code which again can be used in Food on Campus cafes.

  • If we are unable to fulfil your request, we will direct your order to one of our external catering partners.
