Café Muse reopens its doors!

21 Sep 2020

Museum café opens again to the public

Following the Manchester Museum’s reopening to visitors on Wednesday 16th September, Café Muse opens again to the public today (Monday 21st September) run by the team from Christie’s Bistro.

Serving freshly made sandwiches, savoury snacks and an enticing range of cakes and sweet treats, together with handcrafted coffee and speciality teas, the team bring some of the favourites from the Bistro to the popular café. With a limited number of seats, Muse will predominantly be a take-away coffee bar.

The team have worked hard to get the new look café fully adhering to all the latest government guidance for Covid-19, including hand sanitiser at the entrance points, a one-way system through the café, social distancing and the wearing of masks for those who aren’t exempt.

From Monday 5th October, the 2nd part of the café space will reopen as the new location for the Museum’s shop, open alongside the café 7-days a-week.
