Car parks access

11 Jun 2020

While a number of buildings are due to reopen on Monday, 15 June, the car parks staff remain on furlough leave or working from home and therefore a limited amount of car park access is being maintained

The Aquatics Centre car park remains closed by the operators NCP and Booth Street West multi-storey car park remains closed while car parks staff are away from campus.

The barriers at Charles Street, Cecil Street and Dilworth Street car parks remain raised and these car parks are accessible without a permit and free of charge at present, if travelling to campus is essential for work.

The capacity at the car parks will be monitored on a regular basis as we are aware that NHS and hospital staff are making use of Dilworth Street car park during the pandemic. Dover Street car park is also accessible, however, use of the car park should be agreed at Faculty/School level.

Parking outside buildings is not permitted for anything other than short periods to drop off/collect items from your office or building, unless you hold a Blue Badge. Please use the available car parks.
