Traffic management system to be introduced at Dover Street

A traffic management scheme will be introduced to Dover Street on Monday, 1 September, for approximately one year in order to prepare for the planned refurbishment works at the Zochonis Building.

As a result, a temporary one-way system will be introduced from the Rumford Street junction on Dover Street. This is necessary to allow the contractors to safely accept and off-load deliveries during the project.

Because of this, all vehicles using Dover Street beyond this point and Portsmouth Street will be affected. Users will need to exit via left-turn onto Oxford Road, then travel to Grafton Street and turn left again to continue their journey.
