Reminder: Book your Windows 10 upgrade now

The cut-off date for upgrading to Windows 10, or requesting retention of Windows 7, is Friday 10 December 2021.
Colleagues using University Windows 7 desktop computers (PCs) and laptops are reminded to ensure these devices are secure and up to date by upgrading to Windows 10 before the deadline.
After this date:
- Access to University networks will be blocked for Windows 7 devices.
- Windows 7 licences, updates and security will end.
- IT Services will not support any Windows 7 devices unless we are notified before the deadline that they are required to operate with other critical equipment or software.
How to upgrade to Windows 10
IT Services are sending email reminders to all known Windows 7 device owners to ask that colleagues arrange an upgrade before Friday 10 December 2021.
