Men’s health week – taking action on COVID-19

15 Jun 2020

This week (15-21 June) is men’s health week

Be healthy

Taking care of your body and mind is always important, but even more so now, during these challenging times. Everyone will have good and bad days, and may feel frustrated, anxious or lonely at different times, and it’s important to remember that it’s OK to feel this way.

A key element of this is being healthy.

This week (15-21 June) is Men’s health week which this year is focusing on taking action on COVID-19.

Individuals are encouraged to:

  • take action to avoid spreading the virus;
  • take action to get the best out of lockdown and the 'new normal';
  • take action to beat 'underlying conditions'.

Every year the Men’s Health Forum, a UK based charity, aims to raise awareness of issues relating to men’s health by hosting Men’s health week to raise awareness around a particular theme.
