Further roadworks planned on Upper Brook Street

14 Apr 2014

The works will cause diversion and delays to the 147 bus service (Oxford Road Link)

147 route

From 22 April to 6 May, while roadworks take place at the junction of Hathersage Road and Upper Brook Street, there will be no left turn from Hathersage Road onto Upper Brook Street. During this period, the 147 bus service (Oxford Road Link) will diverted along Hathersage Road and will turn left onto Plymouth Grove. It will turn left again at Grafton Street and re-join the regular route on Grafton Street as it crosses Upper Brook Street.

From 22 April to 2 June, a second set of roadworks on Upper Brook Street at the junction with Grafton Street will involve a lane closure on Upper Brook Street at the traffic lights. Past experience with roadworks at this location suggests that delays are likely once the 147 reverts to its regular route when the roadworks at Hathersage Road are completed on 6 May.
