JULY 2026 NEWSLETTER

Hi Everyone

We hope you are all well and bearing the heat with this very hot weather.

I hope for those of you that went to Chester Zoo today, that it was an exciting and adventurous day out. For those of you that have been to Chester Zoo today or a previous event, please remember to send us feedback and if you are new to the UMSA group, and you would like to meet members of the Committee or join us with other members at an event, or simply meet up in the UMSA Lounge, don’t; be shy, please send us a message on umsa@manchester.ac.uk and we will make sure we meet up and that you are felt very welcome into the group.

Keep your eyes on the website , HERE book your tickets, let your hair down and have a night out, it would be great to see you at one of the shows, make sure you come and say hello. We are constantly looking to add more events, and we will add them to the event page as and when. Please continue to get in touch with us, and give us feedback from the event, and suggestions (what event / s did you like?, what did you enjoy?, what event/s would you like to see more of? Etc) that you may have.

Dart Board : Finally! Please see attached. Some of you may have noticed last week the installation of the spanking new dart board (Yaaaaaaaaaaaaah) and the backing wall, which is nice and new. All we can say to you is enjoy the new board and endeavour to please aim for the board not the wall or tv or cabinet around it.

Card Access : For any queries with your cards, or new members wanting access to the UMSA lounge for, please contact me on umsa@manchester.ac.uk for the attention of Val, and I will make arrangements to meet you in the UMSA Lounge and give you access.
