Availability issues affecting some University websites and services

We are currently experiencing availability issues affecting some University websites and online services. 

This is due to precautionary technical work being carried out in response to an issue affecting organisations globally. Our IT teams are assessing University services and have been working since yesterday to take appropriate action to maintain their security and availability. 

As a precaution, some services may be temporarily unavailable while this essential work is completed. We recognise that this may cause disruption to your work and apologise for any inconvenience. 

There is no action you need to take but as ever please remain vigilant to any suspicious activity.  

If you are unable to access a University website or service, please try again later. Our teams are working to restore affected services as soon as it is appropriate to do so, and we will continue to provide updates via Connect and StaffNet.
