Menopause Awareness Month 2026
06 Oct 2026
Get involved in upcoming events, raise awareness and explore menopause support and resources.
October marks Menopause Awareness Month, with World Menopause Day taking place on Sunday, 18 October 2026. This global campaign aims to raise awareness of menopause, encourage open conversations, and highlight the support available to help people maintain their health and wellbeing.
The World Menopause Day 2026 theme is 'Chronic Pain at Midlife', recognising the impact that persistent pain and related symptoms can have on daily life, wellbeing and work.
To support this year's theme, we have refreshed our World Menopause Day Staffnet page with updated information, resources and guidance.
We are committed to creating an inclusive and supportive environment where colleagues feel able to talk openly about menopause and access the support they need. Whether you are experiencing perimenopause menopause or post menopause yourself, supporting a colleague, friend or family member, or simply looking to learn more, understanding and empathy can make a meaningful difference.
Events:
All events are inclusive and we actively encourage all colleagues to join us to keep the conversation going at the University.
