Eid Mubarak!

Warm wishes to those observing the end of Ramadan
Today is Eid al-Fitr, which brings Ramadan to a close for many Muslims in our University community. As the month of fasting, reflection, and generosity ends, Eid offers a moment to come together with loved ones, share food, and celebrate renewal and gratitude.
We know that many colleagues will be observing this special day in different ways - whether through prayer, time with family, or simply taking a moment to pause after a month of reflection.
To everyone celebrating, we wish you a peaceful and joyful Eid.
University support available
- Get in touch with our Muslim Chaplain, Mohammed Ullah, or wider Multi-faith chaplaincy team for support or guidance
- Our colleague networks are a great way to connect with the wider community, including our Muslim Network.
- If during this celebratory time, you find yourself away from friends and family and in need of support, our university wellbeing resources are available for both colleagues and students.
