Available now: Our 2026 Diversity Calendar

Celebrating the diverse and inclusive nature of our community

Graphic with colourful heads with Diversity Calendar written over the top

Every year we develop a new diversity calendar, featuring 12 months of awareness days, university milestones, religious holidays, and key EDI dates to note.  This aims to reflect the diversity of our community, and promote respect and understanding between all colleagues.

Access the calendar: 2026 Diversity Calendar

The EDI calendar is a practical tool to support awareness and understanding of a wide range of equality, diversity and inclusion topics. It can help inform planning at team, faculty and department levels — from scheduling student assessments and project timelines with sensitivity to religious and cultural dates, to guiding conversations within your team about issues that matter. It’s also useful for event planning, helping you avoid clashes and identify opportunities to engage with activities beyond your day-to-day role.

Our aim is to honour individual identities while coming together as one university to ensure that every person feels valued.

If you would like to request a physical copy of the calendar please complete this form.
