Winter Graduations: Celebrating our Class of 2025

We’re delighted to welcome students, their families, friends, and supporters to campus as we begin our 2025 Winter Graduation celebrations.

Graduation is a defining moment in every student’s Manchester journey, a time to reflect on their achievements and the determination that brought them here. Winter Graduation is a special occasion for postgraduate students, those finishing their studies later in the year, or anyone who couldn’t attend summer ceremonies - ensuring every graduate has the chance to celebrate this important milestone

This year’s ceremonies will take place in Whitworth Hall from Thursday, 11 December to Friday, 19 December 2025.

Jenn Hallam, Vice-President for Teaching, Learning and Students, says: "Graduation is one of the most joyful occasions in our calendar. It’s a chance to celebrate the hard work and resilience of our students and to welcome them into our global alumni community. None of this would be possible without the dedication of colleagues who make these ceremonies so memorable - thank you for everything you do to support our graduates and their loved ones."

We’re proud to celebrate the Class of 2025, whose perseverance and commitment deserve recognition. Winter Graduation reminds us that every ending is also a beginning, and we send our graduates into the world equipped with the skills and confidence to succeed.

Graduation ceremony in Shanghai

For the first time, we’re also hosting a special graduation ceremony in Shanghai in March 2026, making it easier for students based in East Asia to celebrate with us. We’re thrilled to extend the Manchester experience across the globe.
