Be part of this year’s Winter Graduation Ceremonies

As we enter the final weeks of the year, the University is preparing to celebrate the success and hard work of our Class of 2025 in our winter graduation ceremonies.
This December, we’ll welcome graduating students back to campus to mark their achievements in a series of ceremonies at Whitworth Hall. Whether you’ve supported our students through teaching, research, student services or administration, your presence helps make these celebrations truly special.
Ceremony schedule
Graduation ceremonies will be held in person at Whitworth Hall from Thursday 11 December to Friday 19 December 2025.

How to get involved
Graduation is a collaborative effort, and we encourage colleagues from all areas of the University to participate.
Academic Procession
All academic and professional services staff are invited to join the academic procession. To do so:
- Review the ceremony timetable to select the event for your department or faculty.
- Register your attendance and order your gown via the new platform: Ede and Ravenscroft GradHub.
Important information
- Gown orders must be placed by Friday, 21 November 2025.
- If you own academic dress, please indicate this during registration. Attendance must still be confirmed.
- Presenters and Tailored Speakers must also register and arrange gowns as appropriate.
If you experience any issues accessing GradHub, use the "Forgotten password" option or contact: gradhubsupport@edeandravenscroft.com.
On the day
- Please arrive at least 20 minutes before your ceremony, dressed in full academic attire.
- Robes can be collected from Committee Room D/E, Whitworth Corridor, 30 minutes before the ceremony.
- All hired robes must be returned to the same room on the day to avoid charges.
Platform Party Capacity
Each ceremony will accommodate up to 25 platform party members, excluding Presiding Officers, Tailored Speakers, and Presenters. Places are allocated on a first come, first served basis.
