We’d like your feedback on the retirement of P drives and personal web pages

IT Services intend to retire the P drive service, which can be used by staff and students for personal file storage and personal web pages. Microsoft OneDrive will become the default file storage.
Once the service has been retired, your files and personal web pages at personalpages.manchester.ac.uk will no longer be accessible.
This is expected to happen during the Summer 2026 break, and before start of year 2026, however exact dates will be confirmed closer to the time.
We are keen to receive feedback from colleagues to ensure we are fully aware of how these services are being used across the University, and where colleagues feel existing services such as OneDrive, Canvas and Pure might not meet their future needs.
