An exciting opportunity to join the University Executive in a role that will shape how we deliver on our civic mission and drive innovation across Greater Manchester and beyond.
This senior leadership position of Vice-Presidence for Civic Engagement and Innovation will lead the development and implementation of the University’s strategy for civic engagement and innovation, working closely with local, regional and national partners. The role is part of the University Executive and reports directly to the President and Vice-Chancellor.
This recruitment process follows the decision by Professor Richard Jones to retire earlier in the year.

Role details
The role is fixed term for five years in the first instance with the possibility for renewal for a further period of up to five years.
- Salary: Professorial equivalent
- Hours: Full time
- Location: Oxford Road, Manchester
