Summer lunchtime Calligraphy for Wellbeing sessions at the Confucius Institute

Are you looking for a lunchtime activity to improve your wellbeing? The Confucius Institute’s lunchtime Calligraphy for Wellbeing sessions are returning this June. Join us to spend your lunchbreak doing something creative and mindful.

Calligraphy (shufa) is the traditional art of writing Chinese characters, and a fundamental part of Chinese culture. This course will focus on learning how to use Chinese brushes and ink, mastering the basic strokes that underpin Chinese writing and understanding the structure of Chinese characters.

Cost: £30

Location: The Confucius Institute building (180 Waterloo Place)

Tuesdays, 3 June to 24 June at 13:00 - 13:50

No previous knowledge of Chinese is required.
