The Fertility Journeys Staff Network Event - Tuesday, 10 June - 11am to 1pm

With the month of June widely recognised as World Infertility Awareness Month - a campaign to bring understanding of infertility issues to people across the globe - the Fertility Journeys Network here at The University of Manchester would like to invite you to our inaugural Fertility Awareness Event that will take place on Tuesday, 10 June 2025 from 11am until 1pm.

This two-part event will consist of the following:

Session 1: 11am-12pm (online) – An Introduction to Fertility

This webinar session will be delivered by Fertility In The Workplace, an initiative set up by the charity Fertility Network UK. In this session, we will be covering the following:

  • What is infertility and who does it affect?
  • Sharing statistics on the condition and impact in the workplace
  • How you can support colleagues going through the journey whilst at work
  • Sharing of a real-life infertility journey
  • Q&A session

This webinar will be recorded and can be made available to those who are not able to attend on the day.

Session 2: 12pm-1pm (in person on campus) – meet & chat

An informal social event to meet with current members of the Fertility Journeys Network. This will be hosted by the Network’s co-chairs Lizzy and Diana and is open to current members as well as anyone who would be interested in finding out more about who we are and what we are aiming to do.

If you are interested in attending the whole event, just one of the sessions or receiving a link to the webinar recording, please complete the registration form by Monday, 2 June 2025 and we will send you further details including the location for an in-person meet & chat.

For any questions regarding the event please contact Lizzy (elizabeth.cottrell@manchester.ac.uk) or Diana (diana.gasparsimoes@manchester.ac.uk).
