Judges wanted for Postgraduate Summer Research Showcase 2023
21 Mar 2023
Open to both academic and PS staff, help to make this year's showcase a great success
The Postgraduate Summer Research Showcase (PSRS) will be held on 15 June 2023 (10.30am-2pm), followed by the MDC Excellence Awards (4pm-5:30pm), in Whitworth Hall and Christie's Bistro.
The Postgraduate Summer Research Showcase (PSRS) is a spectacular celebration of postgraduate research. Hosted by Research Degrees and Researcher Development and Manchester Doctoral College, it brings together researchers from all three faculties to create a unique environment in which to foster interdisciplinary networking and the communication and sharing of ideas.
By taking on the role of a judge, you will be supporting PGRs to develop their presentation skills - invaluable for communicating research. Each research poster will be viewed by two judges: one will be academic and the other a member of PS staff and prizes will be awarded to the best posters and images at the MDC Excellence Awards immediately following the showcase.
The showcase and awards are an annual celebration of University postgraduate research excellence.
- For more information and/or to register as a judge please visit the PSRS Website.
Even if you are unable to judge we encourage you to come along to see the brilliant research that our postgraduate researchers are doing.
