Thank you to all those who nominated and voted for Jodrell Bank as best Museum in the Red Kite Cheshire and Greater Manchester Awards - we were both surprised and delighted to win. We like to think we are a place where visitors can enjoy spending quality time together with their families, connecting with Jodrell Bank’s science and stories – and it seems the voters do too.

Our stunning new First Light Pavilion is also a winner in the Local Authority Building Control Awards – winning the best public or community building in the North West region, and now qualifies for the LABC Grand Finals Building Excellence Awards. Good luck for the ceremony in January.

We are proud to have been shortlisted for this years’ North East Cheshire Business Awards in three categories, and are up for Team of the Year, Creative Campaign of the Year, and Small Business of the Year.  We attended interviews last week at AstraZeneca’s Macclesfield campus, and look forward to learning if we’ve won gold, silver or are highly commended on the 18th November.

And finally, we have been shortlisted for Marketing Cheshire’s Visitor Attraction of the Year, in recognition of excellence and outstanding achievements in Cheshire’s visitor economy and look forward to the ceremony in March.
