A message from Adèle MacKinlay, Director of People and Organisational Development

Dear colleagues,

We recognise that there are conflicts and upheavals around the world that deeply affect members of our community, whether staff or students. 

We understand that you or your friends and family may be directly affected by tragedies such as the ongoing war in Ukraine or the terrible situation in Iran in response to the tragic death of Mahsa Amini.

Our thoughts are with all those affected, and we would like to emphasise the support available to anyone who may be impacted.

Please remember that we are here to support you, at all times.

We have a range of support resources and services available for staff through the staff wellbeing section of StaffNet, including 24/7access to counselling and support through our employee assistance programme, Validium.

Above all please, do speak to your line manager or one of our services at any time – we are here to support.
