Announcing our first Staff Survey 2019 prize winners!

19 Mar 2019

Four lucky members of staff have won holidays

Win a holiday in the weekly prize draw

In the last two weeks, 43% of staff have let the leadership team know how they can improve our working environment by having their say in the Staff Survey 2019.

As a result of completing the survey, the University will donate to charity on your behalf, and you’ll be in with a chance of winning £250 vouchers for a mini-break. Updates on how our donations will help charities in the local area will be coming soon.

How it works

During the survey period, which runs until Monday, 8 April, four people will be picked at random from those who have completed the survey.  So the sooner you complete the survey the more chances you will have of winning, as you’ll be entered into the prize draw every week after you’ve completed it.

Capita, who is managing the survey on behalf of the University, will randomly select the winners. This will not affect any of the information shared, and all your responses to the Staff Survey will remain completely anonymous.

The winners

Our first draw took place on Friday, 15 March. The winners are:

  • Mike Thorpe from the Directorate of IT Services
  • Linsey Nelson from the School of Biological Sciences
  • Sam Beath from the Manchester Museum
  • Christine Jinks from the School of Mechanical, Aerospace & Civil Engineering

The next draws will take place on:

  • Friday, 22 March 2019
  • Friday, 29 March 2019
  • Friday, 5 April 2019
  • Tuesday, 9 April 2019 (after the survey has closed)

Your thoughts count

Staff Survey 2019 launches on Monday, 4 March and runs until Monday, 8 April.

You will receive an email or, if you don’t work at a computer, be given the chance to fill in the Staff Survey form. It only takes around 15 minutes to complete, and you can be sure that all the information you supply will be anonymous and treated in strictest confidence. This is because the Staff Survey 2019 is being administered on the University’s behalf by an external company, Capita.

The survey results will be published in June.
