Organised by the Centre for Research on Socio-Cultural Change (CRESC) on 17 May in the Kanaris Lecture Theatre, Manchester Museum.
CRESC Workshop: Football, Fans and Finance
The workshop will examine the changing nature of English football as an industry and the changing relationship between clubs and supporters as a consequence of financial changes.
Speakers will include:
- Jim White, chief football correspondent for the Daily Telegraph;
- Andy Burnham, Shadow Secretary of State for Health, who is taking time out of a busy schedule to be with us, as he has a long-standing interest in this issue.
