Peer Support Group – retirement and working beyond retirement age

22 Apr 2013

Meeting on Wednesday, 24 April (1-2pm) in 2.220, University Place.

Peer Support Group

To retire or not to retire:

  • Are you considering retirement or how you might work beyond the usual retirement age of 65?
  • What are your options?
  • Would you benefit from getting together with others asking similar questions?

If so, we’d like to help. We are looking at setting up a peer support network for people approaching the usual retirement age* and/or wishing to work beyond the usual retirement age.

The first stage is to invite interested parties to a lunchtime meeting where we can gather ideas and gauge interest and relevance- investigating whether there is a demand for this type of group at the university, any potential barriers, and the different areas of support that might be required for staff.

If there is enough interest, this group will look to meet regularly and act as a network sharing ideas and experiences, contributing to the development of the group and ensuring there is a solid network to support anyone at the University.

Please register your interest by mailing:
