Follow the paper trail in this new recycling video

The Environmental Sustainability Team has produced a short video to show you what happens to the office paper you recycle via the “blue bag” paper recycling scheme.
In 2010/11, we recycled around 363 tonnes of office paper, enough to make 1,061,404 compact toilet rolls.
In this video, you can follow the recycled paper as it is collected from around the University, transported to a local recycling plant and processed, before being sent to a tissue manufacturing plant in Derbyshire to begin its new lifecycle:
