Researchers! Become comedians for a night at Manchester Bright Club

The thinking person's variety club is looking for researchers to perform for just eight minutes on 31 January 2013.
Bright Club is the thinking person's variety club blending comedy, research and music into a very enjoyable night out!
Ever wanted to talk to the public about your research in a whole new way? To share your passion for your subject in a light-hearted manner? If so, Bright Club wants you!
We are currently looking for researchers to perform at the January Manchester Bright Club (Thursday, 31 January). The central theme of the night is ‘Reconsidered’ – although it is up to you how you interpret this theme to relate to your own work/experiences.
Researchers would take part in a workshop in early January with fellow performers to work on their material, throw around some ideas and pick up some comedy tricks. Then the event would be held at the Nexus Art Café in the Northern Quarter.
