Members and volunteer supervisors wanted for first ever Manchester iGEM team

Apply for team membership before 26 November: first meeting on 30 November 2012 at MIB.

I am looking for second and third year undergraduate and MSc students for the first ever Manchester iGEM team.

The International Genetically Engineered Machine (iGEM) Foundation is an MIT spin-out which is dedicated to education and competition, advancement of synthetic biology, and the development of open community and collaboration.

Could you please bring this flyer to the attention of your students:

I am also looking for volunteer supervisors (PhD students, postdocs, principal investigators) who would like to help the team. You can participate at different levels of input and give as much time as you can spare.

We need team members and supervisors from different disciplines, including biology, chemistry, informatics, mathematics, engineering, ethics, philosophy, medical, pharmacology, economy, and law.

  • Apply for team membership before 26 November

  • iGEM lab project: summer 2013
  • European championship: autumn 2013
  • World Championship: late autumn 2013
